Sales Associate — E-Commerce
Be the friendly face (and inbox) of the Balè Moya shop. Since our store lives online, this role is all about making every digital customer feel like they walked into our kitchen.
- Process and track online orders from checkout to doorstep
- Answer customer emails and DMs with warmth and speed
- Keep product listings, inventory counts and promos up to date
- Support pop-ups, markets and events when they happen (NYC-based a big plus)
- Spot what customers are asking for and share it with the team
Pay: $22/hour.

Help tell the story of Ethiopian food to millions. You'll plan and produce the content that powers our recipes, socials and newsletter.
- Plan, shoot and produce short-form food and culture content
- Develop recipe posts, newsletter features and series concepts
- Work directly with the founder on the content calendar
- Bring ideas — this is a build-it-with-us role

Turn raw footage into the scroll-stopping food content our community loves — reels, shorts and long-form recipe videos.
- Edit short-form video for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Color, sound and pacing that make food look as good as it tastes
- Keep a consistent Balè Moya feel across every cut
- Occasional on-site shoot support in NYC or DC
