At Balè Moya, food and story have always lived in the same breath. Moya Reads is our curated library of books by Ethiopian and Eritrean authors — writers who carry culture in their sentences the same way we carry it in our recipes.
Every month we choose one book. We read it together. And when we can, we sit down with the author — in person or live — to go deeper into the story behind the story.
